Code of Conduct

1. IN RELATION TO SCHOOL PROPERTY

  •  Students should handle all school property with care.
  •  Any damage to school property should be reported immediately to the class teacher.
  •  Toilets must be kept clean and flushed after use.
  •  Be civic minded. If you witness anyone doing things detrimental to the school, bring it to the attention of any teacher, preferably your class teacher. Trust the school to deal
  • with a problem in the best way possible.
  •  Do not remove furniture, equipment and other items from any part of the school
  • premises without the permission of the teacher-in-charge.

2. IN RELATION TO PERSONAL PROPERTY

  • Students should not bring mobile phones, Mp3 players, and valuable belongings to school. If found, the same will be confiscated and returned at the end of the academic year.
  •  Important items should be kept in your pocket at all times.
  •  Students should not wear expensive watches.

ATTIRE AND APPEARANCE

1. UNIFORM

  •  Students are to wear the prescribed school uniform. Modifications to the uniform are not allowed.
  • The school uniform must be worn in school and for school activities.
  • Identity cards must be worn at all times.
  • House T-Shirts to be worn for inter house competitions

2. HAIR (For Boys)

  • Hair must be kept short and neatly combed.
  • Hair must not touch the ears, the collar or the eyebrows.
  • Colouring of hair, gelled hair and spiky hairstyle is not permitted.

3. HAIR (For Girls)

  •  Hairstyle should be neat and simple.
  •  Long hair must be tied up or plaited. Colouring and highlighting Colouring of hair /“mehandi” is not permitted. Hair falling below the neck must be tied up in a pony tail or plaited neatly. A hair band must be used for short hair up to the neck.

ACCESSORIES, SHOES AND SOCKS

  •  No jewellery, coloured contact lenses or cosmetics are allowed.
  •  Girls may wear plain ear studs. Multiple earings are not permitted.
  •  Only black hair clips, black hair bands and black ribbons are permitted.
  •  Only black shoes are allowed. Socks must cover the ankles.
  •  No tattoos or body art of any sort is allowed.
  •  Make – up of any type or long nails are not allowed in school.
  •  No nail Polish should be applied on the nails.
