Diya Decoration – Report on 15th October 2011
The Saturday activities scheduled for the 15th of October 2011 began as usual with the inter house competitions. Classes I and II had a Diya Decoration Competition, they made lovely diyas and displayed their creativity in coming up, with novel ways of decoration.
Book Mark Making Competition
Book Mark making Competition, which gave a clear idea that these young GGians are highly talented in their skills and leave no stone unturned in coming up with innovative shapes and varieties of book marks.
Mask Making Competition
Mask Making Competition. The themes given to each house were- tribes, Animals, Dance forms of India and the Navrasas. A wonderful display of ideas, creativity and talent seemed to flow, as very unique masks were presented for judgment. The Guest for the day was Mr. Gune, the teacher of our school Chairman Mr. Goel. He was so impressed with the creativity and efforts put in by the students that he offered to come again and take up a workshop for the students.
Best out of Waste Competition
The Best Out of Waste competition for Classes III-V displayed the creative ability and the imaginative powers of the students as very innovative products were made and displayed by the students. The judges could not but help marvel their talent.
Rangoli Competition
The Rangoli Competition for Classes III-V exhibited the creative talent of the students. They sketched and created beautiful piece of art and filled it with myriad colours to make it eye catching and appealing to the senses.A Rangoli Competition was organized for the students of Classes III-V. Children showcased their creative skills by making innovative designs and colorful rangoli which was appreciated by one and all in unisons
